In his efforts to attract investors within and outside the country for economic developments, the executive governor of Jigawa state Malam Umar Namadi has appointed Alhaji Ado Mai-unguwa as special adviser on trade and commerce.
Mai-unguwa, the former Jahun local government chairman specialized on trade, investment and properties management .
The development was contained in a statement signed by the secretary to the Jigawa state government Malam Bala Ibrahim which was sent to journalist on Sunday.

According to the statement, those appointed are:
1. Abdulkadir Bala Umar T.O
Special Adviser on Special Duties
2. Uzairu Nadabo
Special Adviser 2 EPZ
3. Ado Mai’unguwa
Special Adviser on Trade and
Commerce
4. Musa Shu’aibu Guri
Special Adviser on Revenue
5. Sa’idu Umar
Special Adviser on Nutrition
It said, the appointment is based on merit, competence and personal integrity.
“While congratulating the newly appointees, I urge you to be honest and just in discharging your responsibilities. We have a big task ahead and you all must key into His Excellency’s Governor Umar Namadi 12 point strategic agenda, so as to build the Jigawa State of our dream” the SSG said.
All the appointments take immediate effect.
