The executive governor of Kano state Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf has assigned portfolio to the newly sworned-in commissioners and special advisers.
The swearing-in takes place at Kano government house.
Governor Yusuf charged the new commissioners to be dedicated and committed to their duties, emphasizing that their appointments were carefully made to ensure the selection of capable hands that would contribute to achieving good governance.

The Portfolio of the new Commissioners are; Shehu Wada Sagagi as Commissioner for Investment Commerce and Industries.
Dr Ismail Aliyu Danmaraya, Commissioner for Finance
Dr Shehu Sani Commissioner for power Sustainable Energy.
Dr. Dahiru Hashim commissioner, Kano state ministry for Environment and climate change.
Abdulkadir Abdulsalam Commissioner for Rural development
Abdullahi waiya Commissioner for Information
Wada Ma’aji , Commissioner for public procurement
He urged the appointees to live up to the expectations of the people by being committed and dedicated to achieving the set objectives.
Governor Yusuf reassured the public of his administration’s commitment to fulfilling all campaign promises and called on the new appointees to collaborate with their colleagues for optimum performance.
He reiterated his administration’s commitment to addressing numerous challenges, including uplifting infrastructure, education, and health, as well as enhancing women and youth empowerment, water supply, and boosting agriculture.
The governor commended the Kano State House of Assembly for their cooperation and dedication to the development of the state.
