The Kano state ministry of land and physical planning has honored it’s retired permanent secretary Alhaji Isyaku Umar, four directors and fourteen number of both junior and senior staff for their service to the ministry and the state government.
Addressing retirees and the staff of the ministry, the state commissioner for land and physical planning Alhaji Abduljabbar Muhammad Umar commended them for a job well done, stating that the ministry will continue to tapped from their vast experience.
According to the commissioner, knowledge is blessing and the ministry would continued to employ the service of their expertise for smooth operations and training those in service.

He urged the management and entire staff of the ministry and by extension the Kano state to work hard for the success of engineer Abba Kabir Yusuf’s administration.
In a remark, the chairman of the organizing committee Hajiya Safiya Bala Muhammad commended the commissioner for taking over the funding of donations to the retired civil servant in the ministry, stating that “before it was we the staff that generate and fund the occasions.”
According to her, the gigantic efforts of the commissioner has transformed the ministry to a greater excellent institution.
“As we gathered today, its important to acknowledge the hard work, dedication and commitments to the retirees who their tireless efforts has resonate on all the staff and their commitment will stay for long after their departure,” said Mrs Bala Muhammad.
In his thank you speech, the retired permanent secretary Alhaji Isyaku Umar appreciate the commissioner, the organizing committee and the entire staff of the ministry, adding that their doors is always open for any contributions and support for the success of the ministry.
The retired staff include, Alhaji Dalha Bello, Alhaji Usman Kurawa, Yakubu Hassan Yola, Alhaji Ali Abdussalam Sumaila, Alhaji Muhammad Sabo Ibrahim, Malam Bello Abdullahi, Suleiman Bello Kurawa, Ibrahim Sani, Muntari Nawali, Hassan Suleiman Musa, Muhammad Idris, Adamu Ibrahim Bichi, Bashir M. Bawa, Bashir Sule, Ahmad Umar, Suleiman Sani and Adamu Umar.
