War on Gaza: Israel & Palestine On The Verge of Ceasefire

Israel prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu is expected to submit ceasefire agreement before his government today.

Israel news outlet “Channel 12 Hebrew” first leaked the some part of the crystallized deal, quoting unnamed politicians.

According to the media, the first phase, called the humanitarian phase, involves the release of 33 hostages.

The second phase, the liberation of all, will begin to be discussed in detail during the implementation of the first phase.

The Israeli army will not withdraw from the Gaza Strip until all hostages return to their homes.

In the first phase, all women, whether civilians or soldiers, will be released, as well as children, the elderly over 50, the wounded and the sick – a list of 33 people by name.

The source said this period will last over several weeks and is expected to start on the 16th, the implementation of the second stage will be discussed, in which Israel aims to return all the hostages.

As part of the agreement, security measures will be arranged to allow Gaza residents to move to the northern part of the Strip.
