Stop Russian Aggression Before Ceasefire Talks, Ukrainian President Urges US, NATO

The president of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has urged the United states and its president Donald Trump, the member of the North Atlantic Treaty Organizations (NATO) and other european countries to help his country to stop Russian aggression before engaging in a ceasefire talks.

GLOBAL TRACKER learned that the european countries were not happy with how US president Donald Trump is handling the ongoing efforts for peace talk, warning Washington not to hatch a deal behind their backs.

Also, Zelensky has warned that west should not trust Putin’s claims of readiness to end the three-year long war.

Meanwhile, Zelensky said it was “not very pleasant” that Trump had called Putin first before speaking to him, adding the US president had said he wanted to speak to both leaders together.

The Ukrainian leader — who is set to meet US Vice President JD Vance in Munich on Friday — said he wanted to hammer out a “plan to stop Putin” with the United States before any talks happen.

After a 90-minute phone call with Putin on Wednesday, Trump’s first since returning to power, the US president said he expected to meet the Russian leader in Saudi Arabia for Ukraine peace talks — sparking fears Kyiv would be frozen out.

But, european allies and the Ukraine was alleged to have accused and questioning the strategy of a united state, the development Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth.
