The United states President Donald Trump has announced that his country is developing a “Sixth Generation Fighter Jet”, a moved aimed increasing US air-defense and military air-combat.
“Virtually unseen, unprecedented power. The most powerful of any jet of its kind ever made. Maneuverability – never been anything like it. Its speed is top. America’s enemies will never see it coming – hopefully we won’t have to use it. If it ever happens, they won’t know what the hell hit them,” Trump said.
Tech company Boeing has won the contract to design and build the U.S. Air Force’s highly anticipated sixth-generation fighter jet, part of the Air Force’s Next Generation Air Dominance (NGAD) program.

The contract, which is expected to cost billions of dollars, positions Boeing to play a crucial role in the future of U.S. air superiority.
The fighter jet will be tasked with replacing the F-22 Raptor, which has long been the backbone of U.S. air combat.
Trump, who was flanked by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, said the new aircraft will be known as the F-47, and hailed it as the most advanced, capable, and lethal aircraft “ever built.”
The decision was made public by officials close to the matter, ahead of President Donald Trump’s scheduled announcement at the White House, with Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth by his side.
