NSCDC Deploys Over 3,200 Operatives for Eid-el-Fitr Celebration in Kano

The Kano state command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) says it has deployed 3,256 operatives for successful and hitch free Sallah celebration.

SC Ibrahim Idris Abdullahi, the command’s public relations officer disclosed this in a statement sent to newsmen, a copy of which is made available to GLOBAL TRACKER.

It said the operatives would be mobilized around eid praying ground, recreational/event centres, markets and other public places to ensure the security of lives and properties of Kano residents.

The statement said personnel of the command have been briefed to work in conjunction and synergy with all the security agencies for a peaceful sallah celebration.

The good people of Kano are hereby advised to cooperate with the security agents while the festive season last for a peaceful and memorable Eid-el fitr.

“Peace is everybody’s business; a peaceful festive period free of rancour and disharmony is what every good citizen yearns for,” said Ibrahim.
