The Nigerian Hunter and Forest Security Service (NHFSS) has condemned in totality the harrowing action and brutally killing its members in the Udene Efandion community of Uromi local government area of Edo state.
Abdullahi Al-Ameen, the Kano state commander of the NHFSS disclosed this in a recorded voice note sent to GLOBAL TRACKER in Kano Saturday.
According to him, the tragedy which happened on March 28, 2025 is a reminder of barbarity of jungle justice.

The commander said their members are law abiding citizens and present themselves as hunters with an Identity card, but the vigilante decided to take law into their hands and brutally killed our members.
Abdullahi commended president Bola Ahmed Tinubu for swiftly ordering the full probe of the matters.
The commander urged Kano state government to engage with the relevant stakeholders including the Edo state governor and ensure that anybody found wanting will be dealt with.
It said “the assault escalated when their vehicle was forcibly intercepted, leading to the victims being savagely beaten, bound with used tyres doused in petrol, and set on fire.
This unconscionable act of mob violence is not only a personal tragedy for the affected families but also a stark indicator of the disturbing rise of extrajudicial measures in Nigeria.
