Russian president Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un have signed an agreement that will provide “Mutual Help” in the event of “Aggression” against either of them.
The Russian state media quoted Putin as saying this calling on Pyongyang’s position on Ukraine war “another proof of its sovereign policy”.
Some Russian news agencies have started revealing that President Vladimir Putin is quoted as saying the “breakthrough document” includes a mutual defence clause: “The comprehensive partnership agreement signed today provides, among other things, for mutual assistance in the event of aggression against one of the parties.”

Meanwhile, Russian president said his country is fighting against decades of Imposed United States Imperialism policies set by Washington to cripple Moscow’s economy.
During a 90-minute meeting at Kumsusan state residence in Pyongyang, Putin praised North Korea’s support for his policies and vowed to strengthen ties between the two countries.
“A new fundamental document has been prepared, which will form the basis of relations between the two states for many years to come.
“The Russian Federation appreciates the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea DPRK’s support for Russian policy, including Ukraine war.
“Russia is fighting against decades of imposed U.S imperialist policies,” said Putin.

According to him, interaction between the Russian Federation and the DPRK is based on equality and mutual respect.
“I hope that the next meeting will take place in Moscow.”
Before the talks, Kim welcomed Putin with a lavish ceremony in the city’s main square, where he introduced key members of the North Korean leadership including Foreign Minister Choe Son Hui; top aide and ruling party secretary Jo Yong Won; and the leader’s powerful sister, Kim Yo Jong.
Huge crowds lined up on the streets to greet Putin’s motorcade, chanting “Welcome Putin” and waving flowers and North Korean and Russian flags.
Other agreement reached between the two nations as GLOBAL TRACKER learned includes Expansion of economic and military cooperation between the two nations, agreements on cooperation in healthcare, medical education, and science, A vow to strengthen strategic interaction and resist what Putin termed as ‘illegal’ sanctions against the two countries.
The signing of this deal comes amid growing concerns by United States and its western allies over an arms arrangement in which North Korea provides Russia with munitions for its war in Ukraine in exchange for economic assistance and technology transfers.

On his part, the North Korean leader Kim Jong Un described the relations between the two nations as strong and most important one.
“Now, the relations between the two countries are entering a new high period, which cannot even be compared with the period of the Korean-Soviet relations in the last century,” he said.
“And I am confident that the fiery friendship and the mood of our people in the two countries will be monolithically strengthened during this visit,” Mr. Kim added.
