The former governor of the Kano state and the New Nigerian People Party’s NNPP 2023 presidential candidate Engineer Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso has debunked rumored circulating that he has reached a resolution with individuals or groups in defecting to the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC).
Kwankwaso described the recent statement credited to him as false and mischief aimed at achieving some political interest.
In a statement posted on his verified social media handles X and Facebook @KwankwasoRM, the ex-Governor insisted he has since refrained from commenting on contemporary political events, and will continue to do so for the time being.

The statement reads “My attention has been drawn to a statement purportedly stating my position on the recurring political realignments in Nigeria.
“I wish to categorically state that such statements are false, unfounded, and products of political mischief.
“I have refrained from commenting on contemporary political events and I will continue to do so for the time being.
“In this regard, I urge the public to only engage statements that come from my public handles and other official sources. – RMK
