Over 250, Kano State contengets have arrived Abeokuta, the Ondo state capital safely after 30 hour journey ahead of the 2024 National Sports Festival.
Before their departure, Kano State commissioner for Youths and Sports Development Mustapha Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso brief the athletes, urges them to keep new record and also to be good ambassador during and after the competition.
“Kano state government has done her owned, now remained to the athletes to do their own quarter by keeping new record in Abeokuta,” he said.

On his part the Acting Chairman of Kano State sports commission, Alhaji Ibrahim Umar Fagge urged the athletes to keep their moral high in Ogun.
Kano State to participate in fourteen (14) diference games such as Swimming, Judo, Traditional sports Dame, Gymnastic, Chess, Kick boxing, Teakwondo and Wrestling.
The rest are Golf, Handball, Football, Kung Fu, Volleyball and Beach volleyball and weightlifting
Govern of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun, is expecting to declare the game open on Sunday May 18 2025.
