In a remarkable show of recognition, the Executive Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has been honoured with the Most Compassionate Personality in Nigeria award.
The prestigious accolade was conferred by the Association of Arewa Lagos-Based Business Women during a special award ceremony held in Lagos.
The award celebrates Governor Yusuf’s unwavering commitment to public welfare and his impactful, people-oriented leadership since assuming office.

Representing His Excellency use at the ceremony was Hajiya Fatima Amneef, Special Adviser on Enlightenment and Social Mobilization to the Governor, who expressed gratitude on his behalf and reaffirmed the administration’s dedication to serving the people of Kano with compassion and integrity.
“This recognition is a reflection of His Excellency’s deep-rooted passion for the well-being of the people, especially the vulnerable and underserved,” she said.
