The Barau Football Club has denied all allegations claiming that the general manager of the club Dominic Lorfa is harassing, intimidating and abusing staff, coaches and players of the club.
GLOBAL TRACKER recalled that one Aminu Abba Kwaru in an article titled “Open Petition Over Alleged Harassment of Players, Coaches and Staff of Barau Football Club” claimed that the general manager of the Danbatta based Nigeria Premier League team is expelling Kano players as well as harassing all the technical crew including players and other supporting staff.
However in a statement by the club Media Director Ahmad Hamisu Gwale, the club described the statement as Unfounded, misleading and unfair noting that the team only focused on its remaining seasons activities and commitment.

The club, therefore, calls on the general public to disregard any rumors circulating in the media about the general manager, emphasizing that Barau FC remains committed to professionalism in all its activities.
It also clarified that none of the team staff has been suspended officially, and the management is working hand
in hand to achieve more success for the remainder of the season.
