The executive Governor of Kano State Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has strengthened security operations in the state with the allocation of 10 vehicles and 50 motorcycles to the Joint Task Force (JTF).
Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the director general media and publicity Kano state government house in a statement sent to journalist said the intervention is designed to enhance mobility, response time, and overall operational efficiency—particularly in the frontline Local Government Areas of Kiru, Tsanyawa, Kunchi, Ghari, Shanono, Tudun Wada, and Doguwa.
The allocation letter was presented by the Director, Special Services, Umar Baba Zubairu, who represented the Director General, Special Services, Major General Sani Muhammad (rtd).

The JTF Commander, AM Tukur, was represented at the event by his Chief of Staff.
The ceremony was attended by representatives of the Commissioner of Police, the Director of DSS, the Commander of NSCDC, as well as Chairmen of Kiru, Tsanyawa, and Gwarzo Local Government Areas.
Governor Yusuf reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to prioritizing security and supporting collaborative initiatives aimed at safeguarding lives and property across the state.
