The Kano Pillars Football Club has announced the departure of two players, striker Samuel Tiza and midfielder Umar Sani Yakasai following mutual understanding, as the club looks to revamp its squad.
The club disclosed this in a statement sent to journalists by media and communication directorate including GLOBAL TRACKER correspondent in Kano on Thursday.
The statement reads “Kano Pillars FC wishes to announce that, following a mutual understanding, the club has amicably parted ways with striker Samuel Tiza and midfielder Umar Sani Yakasai. Both players will now continue their careers elsewhere ahead of the second stanza of the 2025/2026 Nigeria Premier Football League season.

The club appreciates the commitment, professionalism and contributions of both Samuel Tiza and Umar Sani Yakasai during their time with Sai Masu Gida and wishes them the very best in their future endeavours.
As preparations continue for the second half of the campaign, Kano Pillars FC remains focused on revamping key areas of the squad in order to strengthen the team and compete strongly for the remainder of the season.
