The city of Kano was in a jubilant mood as residents came out in their thousands to welcome the Executive Governor of Kano State, His Excellency Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, upon his return from the holy Hajj pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia.

The grand reception, which took the state by storm, was beautifully organized by the vibrant and ever-committed “Kano Abba Go Again Movement”, a grassroots-driven initiative known for its unwavering support for the governor.

Abubakar Muhammad Inuwa, the secretary of the movement said the event was more than a mere welcome—it was a powerful demonstration of solidarity, loyalty, and love for a leader who has consistently shown deep commitment to the development of Kano State and the welfare of its citizens.

The “Kano Abba Go Again Movement” mobilized supporters from across the 44 local government areas of the state, turning the reception into a state-wide celebration of unity and hope.

Inuwa said governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, visibly moved by the overwhelming show of support, expressed profound gratitude to Almighty Allah for granting him a successful pilgrimage and safe return.

He also appreciated the people of Kano and the organizers for their tireless efforts and assured them of his continued dedication to just, transparent, and people-oriented leadership.

In his brief remarks, the coordinator of the “Kano Abba Go Again Movement” described the welcome as a symbolic act of loyalty and encouragement, reaffirming their readiness to stand with the governor throughout his administration and beyond.

He further urged the citizens of Kano to remain steadfast in supporting good governance and peace in the state.

Indeed, Kano was agog — not just in celebration of a safe return, but in anticipation of continued transformation under the capable leadership of Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf.
