The Kebbi state government has sponsored the Obligatory sacrifice to over 3,840 pilgrims from the state.
The chairman of the Kebbi State Pilgrimage Hadaya Committee, Dr. Sulaiman Abubakar Fana, made this announcement while speaking to reporters in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.
Dr. Fana, who is also a member of the Kebbi State House of Assembly representing Dandi Local Government, explained that, similar to previous years, the Kebbi State government, led by Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu, has finalized arrangements to sponsor the Hadaya sacrifice for each and every pilgrim from the state.

He stated that Governor Nasir Idris has directed the committee to ensure that only eligible rams are purchased, as goats and sheep will not be accepted by the governor.
Drawing from last year’s experience, Dr. Fana noted that the committee has already begun a market survey to streamline their preparations.
Additionally, Dr. Fana emphasized that, aside from sponsoring the Hadaya, the state government have also distributed Ihram free of charge to intending pilgrims and cover their transportation fees as they undertake their spiritual journey in Medina and Mecca.
Dr. Fana commended Governor Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu and the chairman of the Kebbi State Pilgrims Welfare Agency, Alhaji Faruq Aliyu Enabo, for their commitment to ensuring the well-being of the state’s pilgrims, both at home and in the Holy Land.
