“A natural example is Kano state now, the past administration has sacked the emir of Kano Sanusi Lamido and deposed him to a remote village in Nasarawa state, when this administration comes sacked the appointed emir and bring back Sanusi to emirship but the federal government use police and force back Aminu and stood him in Nasarawa mini palace, the issue is if to say there is State police, we will mobilized our police too to counter the federal one and a civil war would have broken in Kano,” said Hanga.

He warned that this would exacerbate the security challenges already facing Nigerians.

The lawmaker also criticized the recent withdrawal of police security details from VIPs, describing the decision as risky and in need of urgent review.

Senator Hanga urged the legislators to reject the initiative and to focus on strengthening the existing federal police framework to ensure impartial law enforcement across the country.

Hanga then criticized today’s reportedly military takeover in the Benin republic, adding only democratic dispensation brought developmental projects that improve the life and properties of the general populace.

“You know i am democrat, and i will not in any way support the military government, democratic government brig hope and development to people, i enjoy seeing and empowering people and you will never see the military supporting less privilege,” said Hanga.
