The Forum called on the Federal Government and the Niger State Government to act quickly by increasing security operations to arrest those behind the attacks and destroy their criminal networks. It also asked for stronger security patrols in vulnerable rural areas, especially around forests where armed groups are believed to hide.

It further urged the government to make the rescue of abducted persons a top priority, with special attention to the safety and welfare of women and children. The group also called for long-term support for affected communities, including economic assistance, trauma counselling, and better infrastructure to reduce future attacks.

The Forum appealed to all Nigerians to remain united against terrorism and crime and to support lawful efforts to promote safety, justice, and the rule of law.

It said the government must protect the sanctity of human life and make it clear that acts of terror will not weaken the nation’s determination to achieve peace and security.
