The Operatives of Kano state command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) has arrested six (6) suspected Vandals in connection with vandalizing and stealing electricity equipments at Hayin Da’e, Hotoro, Tarauni local government of the state.
SC Ibrahim Idris Abdullahi, the command public relations officer disclosed this in a statement sent to journalist in Kano on Tuesday.
According to the statement, the arrest followed credible intelligence from members of local vigilante in the area.

The suspects have been apprehended by NSCDC with vandalized transformer cables believed to have been removed, midnight in the area.
The suspected vandals are: Muhammad Yusuf 18yrs, Muhd Sani Adamu 19yrs, Umar Musa 19yrs, Ahmed Auwal 20yrs.
Others are Muhd Yusuf 28yrs as well as Usman Ali 19yrs.
It said most of them are residents of the area.
Preliminary investigations by the Corps reveal that the suspects had been terrorizing residents of Hayin Da’e, Farawa Kwanar Yashi and Hotoro eastern bypass with burglary, theft and vandalism of electricity installations.
The corps has since launched an investigation with a view to making further arrest associated with the crime, with confessional statements already obtained from the suspects.
NSCDC said the suspects will be charged to Court.
It said the state command led by Commandant Shafi’u Abdulmumini intensifies surveillance and patrols in the state aimed at ridding Kano of Vandals and criminal elements.
