Thousands of residents, including women, men, and children from Tudun Wada/Doguwa Local government Area, Garin Malam, and other surrounding communities, have expressed their support for Dr. Umar Suleiman, popularly known as DRUSU, represented them at the National Assembly.
This was revealed during a mass solidarity rally, where men, women, youths, and elders came out in large numbers to show their support and interest in DRUSU as their preferred candidate to represent the area at the national level in the forthcoming general elections.
During the rally, community members highlighted his significant contributions to the development of the area, especially in the fields of education, agriculture, healthcare, livestock, sports, and the welfare of children and youths.

They stated that these achievements convinced them that he is the most suitable person to represent their interests.
Testimonies were given by his representatives who oversee the implementation of his development projects in various communities. They stressed that the projects are being carried out with transparency and strong community participation.
Furthermore, residents of the entire constituency, along with representatives of different political parties, pledged their loyalty to him without any opposition, showing broad support and unity across political divides.
Stakeholders described the overwhelming support as a strong indication that the people desire good leadership, vision, and commitment to grassroots development at the National Assembly.
Speaking to our correspondent, a youth leader in the area said DRUSU’s efforts go beyond physical projects.
He noted that DRUSU has helped redirect many youths away from violence and political manipulation, which they were previously used for by self-serving politicians.
At the end or in conclusion, the people also appealed to DRUSU’s father to help persuade his son to answer their call, in order to rescue the area and move it forward.
