The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) says it is read to act as neutral humanitarian intermediary to help bring hostages and detainees back to their families, amid ceasefire talks between Israel and Hamas in Egypt.
Mirjana Spoljaric, the president of ICRC disclosed this in a post on official social media handle X (@ICRC) formerly twitter.
Its said the group will take every necessarily measures to reunite families and facilitate the delivery of aid into Gaza in a way that prioritizes the safety, dignity, and well-being of civilians.

“A lasting ceasefire is critical to saving lives and breaking the cycle of death and destruction,” said Mirjana.
“Our teams are ready to act as a neutral humanitarian intermediary to help bring hostages and detainees back to their families,” said the president.
“We are also prepared to bring aid into Gaza and distribute it safely to civilians in desperate need.”
The development comes as the warring parties of israel government and islamic resistant group “Hamas” start fresh negotiations to end the ongoing genocidal war against palestinian.
The negotiations comes a day to the two year anniversary of the raging war between the two parties.
