The Nigerian Forest Security Service (NFSS) says it needs only governments support and prayers from people in the country in order to end the current insecurity challenges especially in the forest across the country.
The Kano state commander of NFSS Abdullahi Al’ameen disclosed this in an interview with journalist including GLOBAL TRACKER correspondent during closing ceremony/passing-Out Parade of the participants of the Northwest Zonal Training Program held in Kano on Monday.
According to him, the event which marks the successful completion of an intensive training program
designed to enhance the operational readiness and discipline of their volunteers across the Northwest region aimed to strengthen security across all forest in Nigeria.

He commended the northwestern commander of the NFSS for representing the commander general who’s participation encouraged all members in the northwestern states especially Kano, Jigawa, Kaduna and Katsina state.
Meanwhile, the state commander of NFSS has commended the executive governor of Kano Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf for his support to the service and the security of life and properties residents.
“We are pleased with the support we received from Kano state government in terms of venue, logistics. The Kano state government is committed to securing all forest, and we will continue to collaboration so as to ensure the security of life and properties especially in Nigeria forest,” said Abdullahi.
