The Management of Innovation and Vocational Enterprises Institute (IVEI), Kano State Polytechnic had today Monday 22nd May, 2023 received an accreditation team from the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) for the Re-accreditation, Accreditation, and Resource Inspection of its programs.
The Rector of the polytechnic, an Associate Professor Kabir Bello Dungurawa welcomed the team led by the Assistant Chief Programs Officer, Hajara Ishaq, and extended the Institution’s appreciation and gratitude to the Board for its unflinching support toward the development of TVET Institutions in Nigeria.
In a statement signed by head of protocol and public relations Auwal Ismail Bagwai said Dungurawa further stressed that the Institute operates in line with the requirements approved by the Board.

He thanked the team and prayed to Almighty Allah to guide their engagements throughout the exercise.
In her remarks, the team leader, Hajara Ishaq thanked the management of the Institute for a wonderful reception accorded to them and expressed her satisfaction and enthusiasm in assisting the Institute and by extension the KSP, saying that the institution has fulfill all necessary prerequisites for accreditation.
Responding, the Director of the Institute, Engr. Auwalu Sunusi expressed his appreciation to the NBTE and Dr. Dungurawa’s led administration for their support and cooperation at all times toward the success of the Institute.
The Director added that “Without your support, such exercise would not have been achieved.”
According to the Director, the programs scheduled for Reaccreditation is NID Telecommunications Technology and those for Initial Accreditation are NID Computer Software Engineering, NID Networking and System Security, and NID Computer Hardware Technology. While NID Islamic Banking and Finance and Solar Engineering Technology are for resource inspection.
