Armenian Varsity Awards Doctorate Degree to Hassana Saminu Turaki, 15 Others

The Northwest University of Armenia, a country between Asia and Europe has awarded Doctorate Degree to the sister of Former Governor of Jigawa state Ambassador Hassana Saminu Turaki and fifteen (15) others people for their activities touching the life of less previllage in the societies.

Mrs. Turaki the ward winning Global peace Ambassador bagged the honor at a colourful event organised by Leeway Peace and Human Right Foundation an umbrella registered with different university globally including United Nations right agency and other World partners held in Mumbayya house Kano on Saturday.

At the event attended by we’ll wishers and family members, the recipient who thank people that traveled all the way from different parts of the state and neighbouring state to celebrate with her, Mrs. Turaki said peace can be maintained in any part of the planet if Justice is served to every party in a conflict or disagreement between States globally.

Ambassador Turaki emphasized the need for Nigerian leaders to ensure that justice is served to everyone irrespective of his religion, skin colour, ethnicity or region saying only by doing so peace can be maintained in Nigeria.

“I have been telling stakeholders that in any part this world, if their is warring parties, only Justice resolve the issue, for instance even if it’s between your children it is only when Justice served between the two you house, home or what have you may have peace and tranquility,” Mrs Turaki said.

She said “I have been the first Queen Peace Ambassador at this country, and I have been telling states government and the federal government of Nigeria that dialogue is one of the best way to maintain peaceful state, so Nigeria is a diverse country full with very talented young people, if the country would diversfy its economy, justice is served with accountability, then I am telling you sky will be our limits.”

Mrs Turaki then urged well to do individuals in the society to support less prevellage ones so that even in the here after, Allah S.W.A” would have mercy on you.

In a remark, the chief executive officer of the foundation Professor Buhari Isa said all the recipient were carefully selected by considering their track record in maintaining peace and tranquility in the immediate state, protecting human rights and support less needy families.

He urged the recipient to live off their expectation and confidence repose on them by the foundation and it’s partners.

Others who were awarded with the doctorate degree include the renowned magistrate court judge in Kano Abdu Abdullahi Wayya. Also during the occasion, the foundation inaugurated its school which would be chaired Professor Garba Shehu.
