Certificate Forgery: Tribunal Sacks NNPP’s Tarauni Reps Member

National State House Assembly Election Petition Tribunal on Thursday nullified the victory of Mukthar Umar Yarima of the New Nigeria People Party (NNPP) in Tarauni Federal House of Representatives Election for forging his Primary School Certificate. 
Delivering the judgement, the 3 panel led Tribunal upheld that the Respondents Mukthar Umar Yarima didn’t attend Hausawa Primary School as he  claims to have attended in his documents.
The Tribunal said after evaluating the witnesses statement on oath as well as the documents  tendered before the tribunal it averred that Umar Yarima forged his Primary Certificate and therefore not qualified to contest for the Tarauni Federal House of Representatives Election.
The Tribunal also said it relied on  submissions of some of the witnesses  under cross examination which indicated that the Primary Certificate tendered by the winner of the election did not emanated from the school he alleged to had been attended.
It declared all the total votes scored by Umar Mukthar Yarima of NNPP during the poll as wastage and consquently returned and declared the petitioner Hafizu Kawu of APC winner for being the runner up during the election conducted on…
The Tribunal similarly ordered all parties to bear their cost
