Troops Rescued Six Federal University Gusau’s Kiddaped Students

Operatives of the joint task force operation Hadarin Daji (OPHD) have intercepted the abductors the students of Federal University Gusau (FUG) who were kidnapped in the early hours of today.

Our reporter attached to operation Hadarin Daji (OPHD) report that the troops of the OPHD who pursue the kidnappers traced them in a tick forest and engaged them in a gun duel supported by air components of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF)

Sources with the military said, so far six among the abducted students were rescued, scores of the Bandits killed and recovered rifles, motorcycles and other items.

The rescue operation was triggered following the abduction of the students from their rented hostels at Sabon gida village in Gusau.

Earlier, the Commander of Sector 1 Joint Task Force Operation HADARIN DAJI covering Zamfara and Kebbi state Brigadier General S Ahmed was seen leading troops who were advancing toward the Bandits exit route.
