Kano Assembly Donates 1.5M Cash, Honour Tricyclist Who Returned Lost Money

Kano State House of Assembly has honour Auwalu Salisu a tricycle rider who returned missing money.

Auwalu Salisu has also received one million, five hundred thousand (1,500,000.00) Naira as gift from the members of the Kano assembly during today’s plenary.

The Speaker of the house who chaired the session said Gentleman Auwalu Salisu is an illustrious son of the soil by being a good Samaritan in returning the huge amount of money worth eighteen million naira.

The parliament award him commendation letter and each member gave twenty five thousand while the assembly contribute five hundred thousand (500,000) naira totalng to One point Five million naira.

The house also called on the state government to sponsor his educational pursuit up to the university level.

In an interview with GLOBAL TRACKER correspondent after the donation, the tricyclist Dan Baba expressed gratitude to the Honorable Members of the House for the kind gesture which he said would not be forgotten and prayed for successful deliberations in the House.
