Recognizing the direct correlation between staff welfare and performance, Dr.Bulama underscored the importance of prioritizing the well-being of employees.

According to Bulama, neglecting staff welfare undermines an organization’s commitment to workplace productivity and efficiency, affirming his dedication to making FRCN the preferred choice for broadcasters in Nigeria.

The DG also highlighted the necessity of fostering robust collaboration between management, unions, and staff to cultivate positive working relationships, ultimately contributing to improved service delivery and productivity.

Earlier, Comrade Tersoo Zamber, President of the In-House Unions, consisting of the FRCN chapter of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), Radio, Television, Theatre, and Arts Workers Union of Nigeria (RATTAWU), and Senior Staff Association of Nigeria, described Dr Bulama as an astute activist with commendable legacies.

In presenting his proposal, titled ”Rekindling Team Spirit Among FRCN Staff,” Comrade Zamber urged Dr Bulama to prioritize staff training and retraining, create a conducive workplace environment, and address issues such as staff promotion and the backlog of travel and duty allowances (T&Ds) among many other challenges.
