In its efforts to secure and strengthening the security of her Woodlands and neibouring villages making the University community, the Bayero University Kano (BUK) has engaged the services of 22 operatives of the Nigerian Hunters and Forest Security Service (NHFSS).
The NHFSS Kano commander Abdullahi Al-Ameen disclosed this in a exclusive interview with GLOBAL TRACKER correspondent held in Kano on Wednesday.
According to him, the service will be conducting 24 hours surveillance in all the university community specially it’s area of land covered by bushes aimed at strengthening security of life and properties.

“The management of the university have been hiring the activities of NHFSS, we have been arresting criminals and handing over to police for prosecution, that why the management of BUK finds us worthy to work together and secure their woodlands” said Al-ameen.
Meanwhile, the management of the university would Signed memorondum of understanding (MoU) with NHFSS in weeks to come so as Strengthen working relationship.

“If the MoU is signed it will pave a way for comprehensive and close working relationship between we and BUK been very vast institution and one of the leading university in Nigeria with thousands of educationist under it’s umbrella” he added.
In the meantime, the vice Chancellor of the university Professor Sagir Adamu Abbas has presented complement awards to Kano commander of the Nigeria hunters and Forest Security Service NHFSS Abdullahi Al-Ameen.
