The Nigerian Police crack team have repelled a midnight attack by Boko Haram terrorists at Malari in Kondoga Local Government Area of Borno State.
It was gathered that the attackers who came in numbers stormed the police checking on 04/01/2024 at about 2130hrz, but the crack team stood their ground and engaged the terrorists in a heavy gun battle which lasted for about one hour.

A security Analyst and counter-insurgency expert in the Lakechad region and west Africa Zagazola Makama understands that the police were later reinforced by the Commanding Officer of Konduga and his men who stormed the scene and engaged the terrorists forcing them to withdraw.
The combined team chased the fleeing terrorists but they already escaped towards the axis of Sambisa.
It learned that No casualties or fatalities were recorded in the attack.
