Buji/Birnin Kudu Re-run/Bye-election: Jigawa CP Meets Service Commanders, Strengthen Security

The Jigawa state police command has summoned all service commanders of the state for a crucial meeting bedeviling the election security architecture ahead of the Birnin Kudu/Buji re-run and by-election in the state.

The state commissioner of police AT Abdullahi while leading the meeting urged all security agencies to redouble their efforts in ensuring free, fair and credible elections.

The CP assured the state residence electoral commissioner (REC) that robust security will be provided for sensitive election materials and independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Officials.

In attendance are; the state REC, Director National Orientation Agency (NYSC), corps members among others.
