Barau Football Club claimed victory against Albarka FC with 2-1, in the Ongoing Nigerian Nationwide League One NLO 2023/2024 Season.
In a statement signed by the Media Officer of the Barau Football Club, Ahmad Hamisu Gwale, the match between the two teams was held on Saturday 20 April 2024.
Maliya Boys won against Albarka FC in the NLO first match tournament at Jigawa Sports Complex Dutse, Jigawa State.

Recall that the NLO this season was kicked off two weeks ago, as Barau FC started the league with three points against rival team Albarka FC, all from Kano State.
Barau’s FC players Obed Ponkap and Jude Mamman scored two goals in the first and second half respectively to claim the victory.
With the development, they will be at the top in Dutse Jigawa Nationwide League One Centre after Saturday’s Centre Matches.
The Club will play its next match against Hausawa United on Monday 22 April at Dutse Stadium.
