Disregard Reporting Date Rumour, Jigawa Police Tells Shortlisted Candidates, Public

The Jigawa state police command has urged the shortlisted candidates who participated in the 2022 recruitment exercise to disregard any rumours circulating on social media and other places that the date to report at training school is June 12, 2024.

The command public relations officer DSP Lawan Shiisu Adam disclosed this in a short public announcement sent to candidates which was made available to journalist in Dutse the state capital on Sunday.

According to Shiisu, there has been No official announcement regarding the reporting date.

It said once the date is fixed, authorities concerns will communicate to the candidate and make it available to the general public.

The noticed reads “The Jigawa State Police Command wishes to inform the general public particularly those who participated in the 2022 Police Constables Recruitment and were successfully shortlisted, that they should disregard the news-making round that the date to report at training school is June 12, 2024.

“There has been no announcement regarding the date. Nevertheless, once it is fixed, the authority will make it available, please.”
