BREAKING: Niger Expelled French Uranium Mining Company

The military leaders of the Niger republic have revoked permission for the subsidiary of the French company Orano to Operate Uranium mining in the country, one of the largest Uranium deposits in the globe.

French official were reported to have been saying the era of French companies sucking almost free uranium in Niger, while 70% of the population lived without electricity, is over.

Meanwhile, Niger has ordered the closure and full expulsion of the company Areva now ‘Orano’ and its subsidiaries.

GLOBAL TRACKER learned that long-standing disputes over mining rights and revenue sharing, Niger’s desire to renegotiate more favorable terms and growing nationalism and resource sovereignty.
