Kano Gov. Snubs Super Eagles Captain, Musa

The executive governor of Kano state Alhaji Abba Kabeer Yusuf, repudiate Super Eagles Captain Ahmed Musa when the player and his entourage paid him a courtesy visit.

It could be recalled that the Super Eagles Captain was appointed sports Ambassador to Kano state Governor Yusuf on Sunday 28th of July 2024, which was announced in a statement signed by the Governor spoke person Sunusi Bature Dawaki Tofa.

The 32 Year old Eagles winger was at the governor office to inform him on the issue affecting the Sai masu Gida and seek for his intervention in order to revive the lost glory of the team within the nation and Globally.

The Super Eagles Forward who played for Kano Pillars in NPFL 2009-2010, 2021 and rejoined the pyramid city club this year as a free agent, to boost the morale of the Team.

Ahmed Musa was accompanied by Kano Pillars Board Members and Super Eagles Midfielder who also rejoined the club recently Shehu Abdullahi.

Musa earlier performed Juma’at prayers with the state Chief Executive at the Government House letter try to meet him with aim to discuss Pillars matters of Special interest but prove abortive.

This week Kano pillars will play Sunshine Stars in Match Day Five at Muhammad Dikko Stadium Katsina on Sunday, while the Sai Masu Gida occupied the 14th position on the log with 4 points from 4 games.
