The Boko Fertilizer and Chemicals Kano says they have never in anyway sold an adulterated, fake or any Fertilizer lower to its standard to farmers in Katsina or any part of Nigeria.
The group managing director of the company Alhaji Naziru Abdullahi Alhassan disclosed this in an interview with journalist including GLOBAL TRACKER correspondent in Kano on Thursday.
According to him, in previous years, the company produced and sell the best products to their customers in Borno, Zamfara, Kano, Katsina state and non of which a single complaints was received for adulteration.

Naziru Abdullahi said seventy percent 70% challenges faced by fertilizer producing company in Nigeria comes from faking either bags of the products itself, the development that hinders better produce.
“We have deployed over eighty (80) thousand bag of fertilizer to Katsina, and out of which a report was received indicating that about two (2) thousand or so are adulterated, signaling that those adulterated one does not in anyway comes from our company, we believed it must come from unscrupulous elements,” he said.
He said that as a fertilizer company, the government has allowed them to run this business, they are doing their best to improve their products, adding that farmers have very good testimony to the quality of Boko fertilizer.
“Because of the quality of our Boko fertilizer, farmers and different fertilizer traders in Nigeria call us or send us a thank you message for how we improve our Boko fertilizer”. Said Naziru.
“Last year the Zamfara state government bought our fertilizer without any problems, the Kano state government also did not have any problems, and a member of parliament from Borno also bought our fertilizer, he didn’t have any problems either, so we have very good products,” he said.

Naziru then urged stakeholders and the Katsina state government to investigate the recent incident so as anybody found wanting will be dealt-with.
He then call on customers and public to disregard any rumours that the company produced substandard fertilizer, saying they are committed to serve the best to all Nigerias.
