The Kano state operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) have apprehended thirty two (32) individuals, mostly youths after breaking shops and looted goods following today’s protest hijacked by miscreants in the state.
In a statement signed and sent to GLOBAL TRACKER by SC Ibrahim Idris Abdullahi, the NSCDC Kano command public relations officer said the arrest was made by personnel of the Corps Fagge Divisional Office, Kano command.
According to the statement, the suspects were arrested in areas around Sabon gari, Bata, France road and Murtala Mohd way.

Properties worth thousands of Naira have been successfully recovered from them.
Similarly, some recovered items seized from hoodlums by operatives of the NSCDC with the assistance of good Samaritans at Gyadi Gyadi, Kano are in custody of the Corps.
They were alleged to have been stolen by miscreants during today’s protest at state road and Iyaka road in the municipality.
Investigation into the case has begun, once completed legal actions will be taken.
