The Kano state ministry of Tourism and Cultural Development has expressed commitment for a close working relationship with the Rano emirate council in an efforts to boosts Tourism and cultural renaissance in the state.
The state commissioner for Tourism and cultural development Hajiya Aisha Lawan Saji Rano disclosed when she paid a courtesy visit to the emir of Rano in Kano state his royal highness Ambassador Mohd Isah Umar.
In a statement by Rabi’u Umar Isah, the public relation officer of the ministry qouted commissioner as saying that the visit was part of the Ministry’s strategic efforts to deepen collaboration with traditional institutions and promote Kano State’s rich cultural heritage as a key driver of tourism development.

During the visit, the Commissioner commended Kano State governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, for his steadfast commitment to tourism and cultural advancement.
In his remarks, the Emir of Rano commended the Ministry’s proactive outreach and assured the Council’s full support for initiatives aimed at cultural preservation and tourism development.
According to him, this visit marks a significant milestone in strengthening the partnership between government institutions and traditional leadership, as Kano State continues its journey to becoming a leading cultural and tourism destination in Nigeria.
