A renowned northern Nigerian business man Alhaji Kabiru Sani Kwangila Yakasai SKY has steps down from the leadership of Kano state traders association.
GLOBAL TRACKER earlier learned that the coalition of traders association in Kano state has appointed SKY as “father of the traders association.”
In a statement by his media aide Kamal Yakubu Ali, SKY apologize to the union and step-down saying “the position is to heavy for him to bear.”

He however assured to the management of the association for his commitment to support anything aimed at boosting businesses in the state.
“I sincerely extend my apologies and best wishes to the coalition of trader associations in Kano State regarding the appointment they have given me as their leader—FATHER OF TRADERS ASSOCIATION, I kindly ask that they understand and forgive me, as this position is too heavy for me to bear. I simply CANNOT take it on.
“I remain fully with them in all their affairs, especially in areas where my support or contribution is needed,” he added.
Yakasai also re-extend his heartfelt condolences to the entire people of Nigeria over the passing of renowned business mogul Alhaji Aminu Alhassan Dantata, and all others muslims —both men and women—who we have died.
He pray for Allah to forgive their shortcomings.
