The 9/11 terrorist attacks was carried out on September 11, 2001 were a pivotal moment modern history, resulting to the loss of nearly 3000 lives and far reaching implications for global politics and international relations.
Eventually during the Attacks, Four commercial planes were Hijacked, by 19 Al- Qaeda terrorist intentionally crashing in to the Twins Tower of the world trade Center in new York city and one in to the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia.
Consequently, this devastating attack has killed at least 2,977 people. These people include passengers, crew members and individual in the building.
Amongst which 90 countries Including Nigeria. About 67 individuals from UK.
It was as the result of the attack that the then U S president, George W Bush 43, declared the popular millennium campaign “WAR ON TERROR” through his infamous speech’ Independence under attack’.
It was also believe that the reason for the creation of department of Homeland Security and brought a significant changes of U.S foreign policy and National Security.

Lary Silverstein, owner of the Twins Tower was never let and never missed work, was absent during the 9/11 attack and when ask by journalist, during interview he said and I quote ” I was home planning to go to the Down town,My wife told me she booked an appointment with the doctor, as I am dressing I told her I want to go to down town , she replied ur not going to cancel that appointment.
