Iran’s government has accused Israel’s Mossad intelligence agency of orchestrating the current protests, claiming foreign interference is behind the unrest.
The protests, sparked by economic grievances and a sharp currency collapse, have led to over 200 deaths and 2,600 arrests.
Meanwhile, Israeli media reports suggest Mossad has been urging Iranians to protest, with a Farsi-language social media post saying, “We are with you — not just from afar and in words. We are with you on the ground as well”

GLOBAL TRACKER learned that Iranian authorities and some foreign officials including the Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi have claimed that Mossad agents are present in Tehran and involved in the unrest, saying that they have “evidence and documents” they plan to release.
Some regional politicians, like Turkey’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, have also claimed that Israel including Mossad is encouraging or exploiting the protests to weaken Iran.
