A horrifying attack took place in Dorayi Chiranci, Gwale Local Government Area, Kano State were unknown gunmen entered a home and killed a woman and three of her children. Reports say an infant was thrown into a well during the attack.
The police have launched an investigation, but no suspects have been arrested yet.
Neighbours described the incident as shocking, and the community is calling for increased security.

Authorities have urged anyone with information to come forward.
Meanwhile, the Kano state police Command has confirmed the development in a statement sent to GLOBAL TRACKER by Kano state police public relations officer CSP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa.
According to the statement, the victims, Fatima Abubakar (35) and her six children, were attacked by unknown hoodlums who broke into their house.
It said the report indicated that the victims were attacked with dangerous weapons, resulting in fatal injuries.
According to Kiyawa, the Kano state commissioner of Police, Ibrahim Adamu Bakori immediately mobilized a police team led by Deputy Commissioner of Police in Charge of Operations, DCP Lawal Isah Mani to the scene.
It said bodies were evacuated and rushed to Murtala Mohammed Specialist Hospital Kano, where they were pronounced dead.
A team led by ACP Wada Jarma, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Criminal Investigation Department (CID) was instructed to conduct a thorough investigation to bring the perpetrators to justice.
The police command extends condolences to the family, the people of Dorayi Chiranchi and Kano State.
