The management of Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) has fine Kano Pillars Football Club the sum of Twelve million Naira (12,000,000.00) for committing different offences on its Matchday 17 game vs Plateau United on Sunday in Kano.
The fine posted on NPFL’s social media handle X formerly Twitter which was sighted by GLOBAL TRACKER correspondent Zaharadeen Saleh said Pillars have been charged for breaching NPFL24 Rules & Framework in the course of their Match.
Pillars are in breach for misconduct of their fans leading to a delay in transmission of a live broadcast as well as their supporters throwing objects onto the pitch in protest against the decision of a match official.

The Kano club’s supporters acted in a manner capable of bringing the game to disrepute after failing to show the spirit of sportsmanship in the game vs Plateau Utd.
A fine of N10 million has been imposed on Kano Pillars for delaying the smooth transmission of a live broadcast.
Also, Kano Pillars will pay a N1 million fine for repeated offence of throwing objects onto the pitch as well as another N1 million for misconduct capable of bringing the game to disrepute.
A N250,000 fine, being compensation, will be paid to assistant referee Sodiq Adejumo for injuries sustained.
The Sai Masu Gida will play their next home match(es) at the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano before the mid-season break without fans.
Kano Pillars have 48 hours from the day of notice of sanctions to appeal.
Meanwhile, Gombe United have been charged for breaching NPFL24 Rules & Framework following their failure to provide effective security in the course of their Matchday 17 game vs Rivers Utd on Sunday.

Gombe Utd’s failure to ensure adequate security led to disruption after the match, supporters throwing objects onto the pitch & assaulting of match officials after the game.
Gombe head coach Mohammed Baba Ganaru also incited the assault & harassment of match officials while the club officials & supporters failed to display sportsmanship by acting in manner capable of bringing the game to disrepute.
The club have been fined N1 million for the repeated offence of failing to provide adequate security & another N1 million fine is imposed for repeated offence of throwing objects onto the field of play.
Gombe have also been docked 3 points & 3 goals from their accumulated haul following the assault of match officials.
Gombe Utd head coach Mohammed Baba Ganaru is suspended from the technical bench of the club for the next 3 matches.
A fine of N1 million is further imposed on Gombe Utd for misconduct capable of bringing the game to disrepute.
Gombe Utd will also pay a fine of N500,000 being compensation of N250,000 each to centre referee Sa’id Abdul’Aziz & assistant referee Cletus Adewebi.
Gombe will play their next home match(es) at the Pantami Stadium without fans before the mid-season break.
Gombe Utd have within 48 hours of the notice of sanctions to appeal.

In another development, Remo Stars have been charged for breaching NPFL24 Rules & Framework in Sunday’s game vs Sunshine Stars for failing to provide adequate security to address security & safety concerns.
The #NPFL24 table-toppers have been fined N1 million for failing to provide adequate & effective security & has also been ordered to deploy a more effective security arrangement in their remaining home matches.
Remo Stars have 48 hours to appeal these sanctions.
