The federal government would soon start distributing food items to Nigerians as part of its strategies to tackle the hardships that people are in due to fuel subsidy removal.
One of the leading members of the defunct All-Progressive Congress campaign council from Kaduna state Musa Ibrahim Muhammad disclosed this to journalists while featuring in a programme on Liberty Radio in Kaduna on Sunday monitored by GLOBAL TRACKER.
According to Musa, the APC government is working round the clock to ensure that the rising inflation in the country is tackled and the price of food is stabilized.

Asked about reversing fuel subsidy removal, Musa said it was a bad idea, the decision to remove fuel subsidy is a must, “how can you imagine a country to be borrowing money and pay for subsidy while that country could not even have a money to pay salaries? the removal of fuel subsidy is a very top decision made by President Bola Tinubu and Insha Allah very soon Nigerians will be happy about it, they will even thank Mrs. Tinubu for it, that is why we are sensitizing the general public on the need to be patient.”
“Last month, the Senate president even said it, president Tinubu has ordered that each state should receive the sum of thirty billion Naira (30,000,000,000.00) so that it would affect palliatives to workers at their respective states and make programs that will tackle the hardship faced by the general public,” he said.
He urged senators, Ministers, members of the House of Representatives, state governors, members of the state House of Assembly, and other political appointees to complement the Tinubu-led administration in coming up with programs that would alleviate people’s suffering.
