Fitilar Jama’ar Bichi Distributes Food Items Worth 1.5M to Orphans, Vulnerable

The Bichi local Government Development Association tagged “Fitilar Jama’ar Bichi” has distributed food items worth over one million five hundred thousand Naira (1.5M) to Orphans and vulnerable in the area.

The Chairman of the association Alhaji Rilwanu Idris Malikawa Garu said the items distributed include Rice, Maize, Millet, and spaghetti.

According to him, the gesture was part of the association’s annual program with aims of assisting less privileged in the local Government, especially in this month of Ramadan.

He said five less privileged people were selected from forty-four towns in the local Government area as beneficiaries of the gesture.

Malikawa expressed his appreciation for the commitment and sacrifice of the Executives of the association in taking the items to the respective areas of the beneficiaries.

He commended the well-to-do and politicians in the area who donated the food to execute the program.

He said the association has embarked on providing Pop corn to the admitted patients in Bichi General Hospital and Bichi Correctional Centre from fifteen this Ramadan up to Sallah Day.
