One Kano Agenda Commends Governor Yusuf Over Nomination of Garo as Deputy Governor

The One Kano Agenda has commended Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for the nomination of Murtala Sule Garo as Deputy Governor of Kano State, describing the decision as a strategic move rooted in foresight, inclusiveness, and commitment to effective governance.

In a statement signed by its Director General, Abbas Abdullahi Yakasai, the group noted that the nomination aligns with the broader vision of strengthening governance through experienced leadership capable of bridging policy direction with grassroots realities.

The organization said Governor Yusuf’s action demonstrates a clear understanding of the political and administrative demands of the state, emphasizing that leadership at such a level requires competence, loyalty, and a deep connection with the people.
