We’ll Make Best Use of Donated Incubators — Kano HMB Boss

The Kano state Hospital Management Board (HMB) has assured that it will make best use of Incubators donated by the vice Chancellor of Yusuf Maitama Sule University Kano Professor Muktar Atiku Kurawa.

The incubator which was donated to the Pediatrics Department of Muhammad Abdullahi Wase Teaching Hospital popularly known as “Asibitin Nassarawa” as part of the commitment of Professor Kurawa in supporting the hospital in providing optimal conditions for the development of babies.

While donating the incubator, Professor Kurawa said “he hopes the incubators would be utilized effectively and efficiently for the benefit of Kano indigenes and Nigerians at large.”

However, the executive secretary of the board Dr. Mansur Mudi Nagoda assured that the board under his watch will make judicious use of them adding that this is a wellcome development from well to do individuals in supporting the health sector so as to achieve the desired objectives.

Dr. Nagoda represented by the board’s director medical services Dr. Suleiman Mudi thanked professor Kurawa for the gesture recalling that “this is not the first time Kurawa is making donations to the health facility and the board is proud of him and by extension the university community.”

In her remarks, the Chief Medical Director of the hospital Professor Hadiza Said described the donations as timely considering the number of cases the hospital recieves.

According to her, while the hospital is awaiting the commencement of reconstruction and purchase of mordenised and functional equipments by the state government, the incubators would serve a very big purpose to the pediatrics department and also promised to make judicious use of it, Urging other wealthy individuals in the state to emulate.
