Warwade Attack: We’ll Bring Perpetrators to Justice, Jigawa CP Assures Victim’s Family

The Jigawa state police commissioner AT Abdullahi has assured the family of the recent deadly attack at Warwade village in Birnin Kudu local government area of the state that the state police command would use every resource at her disposal to ensure the perpetrators of the attack were brought to justice.

The state police image-maker DSP Lawan Shiisu Adam disclosed this in a statement sent to journalists after CP Abdullahi and the commandant of Nigeria Police Academy Wudil in Kano state paid a condolence visit to the family of the victims.

According to the statement, the commandant and the CP visited the scene of the crime as a means of installing trust and confidence in the impacted areas.

The statement reads “The Commandant Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil- Kano, AIG Abubakar Sadik, alongside the Commissioner of Police, Jigawa state command, CP AT Abdullahi psc with his management team had earlier today paid condolences to the families and relatives of the three (3) persons who were killed in a deadly attack at Warwade village, B/ kudu LGA on May 3, 2024 by suspected bandits.

“The team prayed for the innocent souls to rest in eternal peace and their children left behind. The CP gave the family assurance that the Nigeria Police Force, Jigawa state command would make every effort to make sure that the evading offenders were apprehended and brought to justice.

“In the same manner, the Commandant and the CP visited the scene of a crime to crime-map the area and instill trust in the residents of the impacted areas.
