Police Decorate 17 Senior Officers in Jigawa

The Jigawa state police command has decorated seventeen (17) senior officers from Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) to the substantive rank of Superintendent of Police (SP).

DSP Lawan Shiisu Adam, the command public relations officer disclosed this in a statement sent to journalists including a GLOBAL TRACKER correspondent.

According to the statement, the promotion is was a result of the Inspector General of Police IGP’s recommendation and approved by the police service commission.

It said those decorated are Adamu Babangida, Mohammed Shuaibu, Babangida Dandare, Muawiyya Idris, Ahmed Mudi, Muhammad Walama Sa’idu, Bala Babayo, Basiru Muhammed, Ibrahim Musa, Hafizu Lawan Mohammed and Muhammad Abubakar.

Others are Baba Ali, Musa Amana Rabiu, Saidu Jatau, Yusuf Yakubu, Alhaji Ashahabu, and Dan’asabe Ali.

The CP urged the newly decorated senior officers to lead by example, inspire their subordinates, and work collaboratively with other security agencies to combat crime and maintain peace in the State.

In his thank you message, one of the celebrants, SP Ahmed Mudi, expressed his profound gratitude to Almighty Allah (SWT) for sparing our lives to witness this memorable occasion.

He then thanks the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, PhD, NPM, Police Service Commission (PSC) the Jigawa state Police Commissioner, and the Management Team for finding them worthy of this promotion.

He further assured the CP of their readiness, devotion, and dedication to serve their fatherland and Jigawa state in particular.
